Q: Do you take custom orders?

Absolutely! I welcome all commissions. The time and cost will of course depend on the scope of work, but I'd be happy to make your ideas come to life!

Q: Is there an additional fee for custom items?

This is the question I am asked most often. There is no custom 'fee' per say, but custom items will almost always cost more than in stock items, even if the item is similar. If I have supplies in stock I will charge accordingly. If the materials have to be ordered, that cost will be factored in to the order cost.

Q: How long will it take for you to create my custom order?

I will provide a more specific timeline once we've established a plan, but please allow 4-6 weeks for custom orders.

Q: Do you work in other metals?

I work predominantly in stainless steel and bright aluminum.
The following metals are available by special order, although they are all subject to availability:

• Sterling silver
• Niobium (comes in all sorts of rich beautiful colours)
• 10k Gold
• Copper
• Bronze

Please keep in mind that not all components, like clasps or earring hooks, are available in each of these metals.

Q: Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

All of the earring hooks are stainless steel, and are sold with latex free plastic stoppers.

Q: What are the jewelry components made out of?

Unless otherwise specified, all of the jewelry hardware is stainless steel.

Q: I love this bracelet/necklace but it's too big/small! Can you adjust it for me?

Most chainmail pieces can be resized. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me by email to discuss your options.

Due to the nature of beaded items, most are not adjustable, so don't forget to check the size before you buy! If you see something you like but need a different size, I'd be happy to create a custom piece - just for you.

Q: Let’s talk about Shipping. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All orders are shipped with Canada Post. You’ll have different shipping options presented to you upon checkout, so the timeframe will depend on your location and the shipping method you select.
International shipping can take up to 4 weeks.
Since I’m a one woman show, please allow 3-5 days for your order to be processed.

Q: Is the checkout secure?

Not to worry! Your credit card and order data is encrypted and secure. Shopify is Level 1 PCI compliant and uses 256-bit SSL certificates to keep order details secure.
